In the spirit of Monty Python's philosophers' world cup, we should do some authors' teams mebbe?

Would George Elliot by any chance be in deep cover wearing a unisex football kit, and what about the the players hot bath after the match?

You might care to ponder that as an inclusion in the Short Stories section. I for one, would be an avid reader. "Middlemarch" linesmen kindly avert your eyes.

Women footballers seem to wear the same sort of kit that the male footballers too. I don't think women look good in football shorts. They look better in hockey or netball kit. This reminds me when I visited ESPN several times to do with work. I remembered football was soccer over there, but forgot hockey was field hockey, otherwise they think you're talking about ice hockey.
