Life is old
this day
rings loud
on the metal sky
unfinished sound
louder now
than on the day
we met
criss-cross
and underfed
heavier here
than there

I lke this piece.
it is short but at the same time quite deep.
the two first lines are intriguing.
to say that:
life is old
is quite a statement. :)
however I do not claim to have understood it but it does not bother me. it was a nice read.

I really quite liked this poem. The cutting between the first and second lines reminds me of a haiku, as does the terse lines throughout. I think I may have somewhat of a grasp on the meaning. I think the good thing is the poem makes me want to think more about it. It almost asks to be re-read. good work!
