Who the hell am I?
The good guy in my head
Or the bastard
Reported back?
The good guy in my head
Or the bastard reported back?
Who the hell am I?
I'm a good guy.
Aren't I?
But if you feel I'm a bastard
Then I'm a bastard to you.
So I'm a bastard.
I'm a bastard.
That's a lot to accept for a good guy.
But acceptable to a bastard.
I must be a little bit good guy
A little bit bastard.
That's me alright.
Good guy bastard.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Some good guy bastard wrote.

Lol, Jerry. I like this, although parts of it remind me of a fourth grader who likes saying certain (bad) words over and over. But the sentiment is true.

This clever ditty reminds me of an amusing anecdote relayed by Cindy Adams, columnist for The New York Post. A woman on a subway train noticing another passenger reading The Bastard by John Jakes, remarked, "That book must be about my husband."
