Did you think that "Gone with the Wind" was well-written?

We all know that the book's storyline was compelling.

But what about the writing itself? How eloquent do you think that the writing was?

great question and I admit to my own own impediment once I had seen the movie, the only movie, I wonder why when there are many repeats of many books, The Titanic is one, I could not read the book no matter how much I tried.
and so the answer is I vaguely remember it felt odd trying to read it whilst the movie and actors I knew about.
