It was about this person wondering what they were going to be when they grew up, but all the possibilities were objects. Towards the end of the story they became an egg-timer and said their hips kept getting stuck in the narrow part.
Does this ring any bells? I appreciate knowing the title because it was one of the cutest and nicest things I've ever read.
