A beautiful poem. Why is it titled "for the painter and the singer?"

Thanks, guys, for reading.
for the painter and the singer?
Three reasons:
1) The basis of this poem was a photo of two teenagers (I couldn't tell which one was Marhoni or Asgari). One was sobbing (sad cry - singer), while the other had a forlorn face (gloomy portrait - painter)
2) One is hanged in Iran due to either his action (painter) or his word (singer).
3) It also explains the last couplet: the engraver of the earth (painter) and the teller of the last aubade (singer).
Thanks,
Miyako

Very sad and beautiful. I too especially enjoyed the parts in italics.
