What other forums have you belonged to besides this one? What were those forums categorically, and how would you rate those forums? (If you can't think of any, then maybe name forums you've visited.)
Long ago I was in a ff9insider forum for video gamers, specifically of Final Fantasy IX. There was more intellectual discussion there than one would have expected.

I belong to a Fantasy Literature forum but these days it's too quiet for my taste.
I'd say this forum ranks pretty well up there... intellectual, while remaining easygoing and fun.

I'm on Writingforums.org where I post under the user name 'Lemex'. I was even a mod there, but had to step down due to the teacher training course I'm currently on.

I'm a member at a Dutch gardeners forum. We discus books too, albeit a little different ones then here.

Way back when I first really discovered the internet I found this game called Toontown and a few years later I found a large forum community centered around the game called Toontown Central. I really loved the community and it sparked my love of writing. Unfortunately I got my stupid self banned from it, so was forced to move on. After that I joined deviantart and then later tumblr.
The only other forum I have ever tried to be active on is the NaNoWriMo forum, but I think I may hang out around here as the Nano forums are only really active for two months.

Style Zeitgeist
Fashion board with an emphasis on avantgarde. Good cultural discussion, but many of the members can be irritating snobs. Also has a buy and sell section for clothes.
4chan
Anonymous imageboard site with boards covering sixty plus topics ranging from literature, animals and do it yourself projects to pornography, meet ups and politics. I post/view on music, literature and politics.
Krautchan
German version of the 4chan/2chan style anonymous imageboard. The international board is in English so I ****post there sometimes to better represent Canada (you get a little country flag ball from wherever you're posting, it's cute), as Russians, Finns, Canadians, Americans, Swedes and Australians are all rouinely ranked as being the worst posters and I need to maintain this status quo.

I'm a member and moderator at the ChampWeAreUnited forum. It's about old British football comics mainly, with other comics, magazines, football and films. I post under a different name there.
There is only eighty members with about ten of us posting regularly. With such a small number it's easier to get to know everyone. This is only the second forum I've joined and with almost a thousand times as many members it's a bit daunting.

It seem unimaginable, but it's true.
