Deep in the village of Diggity Dee
The townsfolk eat balls of dried ghee
They have very long chins
That grow down to their shins
Hair like yellow spaghetti

Dandruff snows like confetti!

The village of Diggity Dee!

Deep in the village of Doggity Dox
With holes in their boots and odd socks;
On the weekends they depart
To sip tea, scratch, burp, and fart
Fastening their tents with locks

Made from an old cardboard box!

The village of Doggity Dox!

Deep in the village of Duggity Dell
As they sleep through buzzer and bell
All the cows dance and sing
Wearing top hats and bling
But down a manhole one fell

Shouting "Oh Bloody Hell!"

The village of Duggity Dell!

Deep in the village of Daggity Doo
The sidewalks are lined with poo
Where their dogs rollerblade
Sporting bowties and shades
Puffing on pipes of bamboo

Sipping on Marshmallow Brew!

The village of Daggity Doo!

Dee, Dox, Dell, and Doo
The sun goes down at quarter to two
The coach crosses by
As the crows fly
I won't be on it, and neither will you

We'll stay home and we'll stew!

Diggity Dee!

Doggity Dox!

Duggity Dell!

Daggity Doo!

If you can't write a children's book nobody can MM. Advertise for an illustrator. Unless your drawing is as good as your writing.

Nice one. I agree with Jerrybaldy that it looks like it would make a good children's book.

I think of Colin McNaughton when I read your stuff. This poem needs an illustrator for sure.

Thankyou Delta :)

Hmmm, illustrations seem to be a popular theme. I'll get on it
