im doing an essay for AS level english and i didnt really know whether or not the play shakespeare wrote was intended to be romantic or misogynistic(sexist). I think that its misogynistic at the beginning but Petruchio's intentions towards Katherina change and its romantic. I think that Shakespeare intended his play to be dialogic(questioning) instead of didactic(teaching) because he leaves the audience guessing and asking questions.
