Some things will never change.
Perceptions made through nature’s lens
that order sense to run off-course.
This will never change.
The tranquil stars that light the bland
and map out where the planets hide.
This will never change.
A muted tune enchants the land
and dances into midnight’s sight.
This will never change.

But silent lies and sacred bonds
were never meant to coexist.
So muted tunes enchant my soul
and trap me in another’s sight.
The tranquil stars will light my hands
and map out where my heart belongs.
Perceptions made through nature’s lens
will tempt my mind to run off-course.
And though this calm protects, it seems
where there is life—love’s forbade.
So please—please tell me
this will never change.
