First Edition??

Hi...Just wondering if someone could help please :-) I picked up a lovely old book today in really good nick. "Heather At The High School" by Winifred Darch. All the info I have is that it's 1924 (Which I'm pretty sure is the first year the book came out)Humphrey Milford Oxford University Press Printed by Frederick Hall. There's no second date nor any numbers to give me a guide as to whether it is actually a first edition or not.

It's not so much about the book in particular...More how Oxford print and state their books??

If there is no notation of an earlier edition, then it is probable that it is a first edition, not that it makes much difference.
