I agree with Polly...whoever you are. "Ten Things I Hate About You" was a wonderful movie. I absolutely loved it. Then I read the Taming of the Shrew....this book is horrible! I happen to be a female, and I think this book is so insulting to females in this world! We work SO hard to be respected in a male-dominated society. Women are gaining more power. Sorry guys, that's what's going on. I have no doubt in my mind that Shakespeare is very talented. I love Romeo and Juliet and other ones. However, The Taming of the Shrew is just plain cruel.
