What was it like
when you realised
you were nobody?
Well I was sat on the bus,
a number 42
when it hit me.
Bam.
It was as though a weight had been lifted.
I head butted the man sat next to me.
He had it coming.
What was it like when you realised
you could make no impact?
Well I was in the bath
with a clockwork submarine.
I called her name and submerged.
I could not stay there.
The pull to breathe was too strong.
How did that make you feel?
Like New year's day.
Did you find any answers?
Yes I did..
I thought about struggle and love,
inevitability and how reality remains
as you unwrap it endlessly
yet find no gift.
I decided to release the answer through the medium
of dance.
I began to row on the beige rug by the fire.
"Oops upside your head.
I said oops upside your head".
when you realised
you were nobody?
Well I was sat on the bus,
a number 42
