Hi,
Can any one of you give some details regarding the influence of Christianity seen in the writings of Wordsworth?

Since you're asking for "details" rather than guidance, would it be safe to say that you're trying to avoid actually having to read Wordsworth? Wrong approach. Go do the reading first, then come back with substantive questions based on what you've read if you still need help.

In fact I was reading William Blake and just wanted to compare his writing with that of Wordsworth. And I was wondering whether Wordsworth was ever influenced by Christianity or used Christian images and symbolisms in his poetry like Blake. While reading few poems of Wordsworth like, the 'Daffodils' and 'Ode to Duty' I couldn't find out anything of that sort as in the case of Blake, who for instance, speaks about Christ rather directly by using the symbols of 'The Lamb', 'The Shepherd' etc. (which are having Biblical references and pretty much related to the core of Christian theology). At the same time, some of the interpretations I happened to read on the above mentioned poems, point out that 'they speak about the providence of god as ' (in the case of Daffodils), and exhorts to 'be dutiful and faithful, like the faithful servant in the Bible' - in the case of 'Ode to Duty'. But they seem to be like passing comments. Just wanted to know whether some authentic interpretations are available in this regard.
