Hello,
I have a question regarding the stock character of the ingenue. An ingenue is considered a stock character, and therefore could be seen as a stereotype as well. Could an ingenue also be considered an archetype, the same way the Hero, the Villain, or the Damsel in Distress is? What would you say the difference between an archetype and a stereotype is? Is there a difference?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
