Doesn’t your heart just go out to the nerd when you’re at the newsagents
Y’know when he drops his wallet and the pennies fall out at the front of the queue
And his glasses slide to the tip of his slender nose as he stoops
to grab the rolling pennies with his long pale fingers
The skin head thug with the bolt through his nose behind him swears
You want to thump him but he looks too fierce
He stands on the last coin with his doc marten’s
I want to yell “Get off his coin, you bully!”
But I don’t want anyone to know
The nerd’s my brother!
