Late to my own party. Thank you Qim for the poem, I love it and for the heads up to come here and find this thread or I never would have.

Thank you Mona amon, Calidore, Jack, Cacian and Gilliatt Gurgle for your kind wishes.

Jack, only onions should be pickled with the slight exception of eggs which should be dropped into a bag of salted crisps. Pickled onions should be eaten at Christmas when they temporarily seem a good idea and the egg in the crisps should be eaten seated at a bar when you have drank enough bitter for that to seem a good idea.
