The window’s glass
invaluable; it travels on,
dragging color after color
into its reach
and I stand amazed.
Slowly unlocked
from sun-stunned fields
the river seems
hidden and unlit.
Without a reverie
to lean upon,
will you escape
the day?
Tremors knock
the bells together,
the sound abolishes
everywhere.
