Hemingway's Eulogy
(a found poem)
"At first light,
The sun rises,
Into trees,
In the garden
Of true Eden,
And across islands
Not to have spring.
The stream,
The river,
And the torrents
Also have a farewell
To the arms of the sea
And the old man
For whom the bell tolls."
*This poem uses all the words found in the titles of Hemingway's novels.
