Little girl I shaved your hair
Now roll in the rubbish dump
That is your playground at Nauru.
Raghead family.
At lunch the Guard will order,
Number 3482 get into line!

Your bare feet are hard
But your soft face is hidden behind
Your Mama's blood drenched skirts.
Stop with the fake tears!
Prisoner, criminal.
You can only dream of being Australian.

Funny how moments of wishful thinking
Keep us both going.
You cling desperately to hope,
stronger than any ocean surge
While I wish the rocky shoreline had smashed
Your bones like matchsticks.

Under the cover of over crowded
Tents, of s hit blocked toilets
And mythical tales
Of Western freedom,
Your Mama bargains
For a lightly soiled sanitary napkin.

Tomorrow you march
along stretches of burning white gravel,
Inhaling possibilities beyond this hell,
Beyond this compound,
Praying one day, you might remember
how it feels to hold a toy in your hands.

"Under the cover of over crowded

This is the kind of verse that you only can write. Another superb piece. I just want to cure my guilt. Do you understand now what I meant by ordinary? This is no ordinary. This is professional and publishable.

Of course I do and please don't feel guilty about your assessment Miyako since I replied honestly to your feedback. Huggies was about my personal struggle. One cannot write more than what they are capable of at the time x.

The topic of this poem is dividing an entire nation!

Just curious. Do you feel you're back? Do words come out like you see colors in your mind? If so, the juice is now flowing. I want to write about such experience, but sometimes it's too painful to tell if I experience it myself.

I know this has a political theme. the Title says so--Tony Abbot.

Colours isn't how my mind operates. Giving meaning to random images, contextualizing them, as if I had somehow managed to join the dots might better explain it. I also throw in concepts and theories for good measure. This hasn't been happening to any great degree lately.
