Hi, i have an english assesment that im doing and im beginning to get stuck. the task was to "explore the way the theme love is presented and developed in romeo and juliet and a collection of poems" the collect includes sonnet 116, sonnet 18 and sonnet 130 by william shakespeare, my first sonne by Ben jonson, he and she and a birthday by christina rosseti, first love by john clare, wild nights by emily dickson between us now by thomas hardy, havisham, we remember your childhood well and anne hathaway by carol ann duffy, love poem by lemn sissay, praise song for my mother by grace nichols and finallllllyyyyy mother, any distance greater than a single span by simon armitage.
i decided to do the inevitability of fate and so fare i spoke about the prologue which i linked to sonnet 116
the shared sonnet on religious vocabs which i linked to anne hathaway
we need to do minimum of 5 poems , can any one help me?
this is due on wednesday and thursday and i will do absolutely anything
i wouldnt ask if it wasnt important. u have to talk about the literary techniques such as foreshadowing metaphors, rhyming scheme, interpretaions, how its linked to fate with quotes and stuff and finally link it to romeo and juliet
i was thinking of doing my first sonne and love poem with the death scene of romeo and juliet but im having a struggle writing it :(
thanks so much
