This put a smile on my face. I'm hoping Australia will lead the way in Dragon Development...

It's nice to see seven-year-olds asking scientists rather than Santa for Christmas presents.

Those scientists or reporters might have made the whole thing up. I do like how she wrote, "Help Lovely Scientist". In the good old days, she might have asked a knight to save her from the dragon instead.

haha so true!!! fairy tales with dragons knights and prince charming oh the good old days.
I think a scientist these days is more likely to be stargazing or living or getting lost in space and so not a chance of any of us getting their attention :D

I like the girl's request and I would like a dragon too. My son has an imaginary friend who is both a dragon and a scientist called Doctor Didrik Dragon maybe he can help. As for the scientists, just like humans to think of a way to use a dragon, the girl wants a friend but grown-ups want fuel.

oh I see. does not that cause you any concern? I ask because I am not keen myself on the idea of an imaginary friend.

So adorable, as is the little girls' letter, Delta. There's a follow up story. They made her a dragon using a 3D printer. It's very pretty and it was so sweet of them
Having an imaginary friend is usually indicative of a very active imagination, cacian. It's a good thing. I had one, as a child.
