trying to find a book i read as a child

hi guys, long time no speak!

i've been trying to find a book i read when i was a child and i feel this is the best place to ask- what i remember is

a boy goes to bed angry and his bedroom starts to break (not where the wild things are) and then later he is on his bedroom door floating on a flooded world and then he is sat on his rooftop, leaning against the chimney. there were lots of blues in the colours and it was mostly pictures

any help would be greatfully received!
