Hello! This is my first post on your lovely forum, and I'm sorry to say it's a hawk post for a blog I'm starting that I hope will interest you. It can be found here...

I happened upon all 6 vols of A La Recherche Du Temps Perdu recently, and now I have to read them as a project next year. Taking on such a mantle means something else than it once did, prior to our hyper-connected world. I hope to explore the experience and engage with people and their ideas while reading, somehow straddling the divide between the old ideas and new.

A little primer for ALRDTP is contemporary philosopher Alain de Botton's 'How Proust Can Change Your Life', which I'm reading currently. I also contacted Alain deB personally (sort of - using Twitter) and he indulged me, instructing me to go ahead and read. Sooo....

Please take a look and I hope it interests you. Philosophy forms a large bulk of my reading elsewhere, and I think the blog will make definite reference to not only Proust, but many others too.

:)

Thank you! I hope to hear from you.

Kirsty

- evidently I can't link to my site on a first post. Seems fair! Please tell me if this is something you'd be interested in seeing.
