The book was very interesting in the way that it showed how life is slowly starting to become. How Orwell shows how emoitionless the society acts is unfortunately very close to how life has become. Many people would do what Winston did when he kicked the hand in the street without really a second thought. Sadly, Orwell was very close in describing the way life would be today especially with how emotionless we have become.
