Last night while trying to fall asleep, I recalled a poet I learned about in a class last year. I don't recall his name or the name of his poems. I can't even recall lines from the poems, so it is very difficult to perform searches. What I do recall is he is from the last ten years, he has his own website with his work, and his poetry is not at all traditional- in both writing style and topics. As far as subject matter, I do recall one was about never having enough time. There were attempts to set up a table, but each time it would disappear before he could complete it. Another one involved a heart in the woods. The last one I recall, I believe was about the end of the world, everything was ablaze, and he was having sex with his lover as they were surrounded by fire. I am hoping someone knows who the author is because I'd really like to purchase his book, and to see if he has written anything else.
