Hi, everyone. My name's Sandy. I graduated from Stirling with a degree in English Studies nearly twenty years ago. I currently teach literacy somewhere in England.
Favourite authors include J G Ballard, Burroughs, Kerouac, Wordsworth and more.
I'm currently reading Balzac's Scenes of Parisian Life. I'm finding it a bit of a struggle, but finding quite a few lines quite interesting. Such as ; "Jacques Collin used to say, so completely was he endowed with the talents indispensable to a man at war with society...". The mind boggles at this one, and I start thinking, what would a character like this be in today's world.
