1- Foolish & Fraud
It is related that one day, tow men were partners on trading, one of them is called the Fraud and the second is called the Foolish.
While they were traveling the Foolish lingered for a while to do something of his own purpose, soon he found a sack containing thousand dinars.
The Fraud felt on what the Foolish has found, and asked him to divide the money.
When the Foolish and the Fraud were about to reach their country, they sat down for a while to divide the money equally between them, according to the Foolish advice, but the Fraud concealed secretly alone to possess the money, saying to the Foolish;
I think the partnership and the negotiation is better to maintain our friendship, and I suggest taking some of the money as a temporal expense, and we hide the remaining under the trunk of this tree because it is safety place, and when we need some money we come later to take what we need.
The Fraud returned to the place secretly, picked up all the money, and flattened the ground as its former shape.
On the next day the Foolish asked his fellow, he is in necessity for money.
The Fraud took him to the place but nothing they found.
At once the Fraud began to slap his face rebuking his fellow accusing him that he who stole the money.
The Foolish began to swear that he was not who stole the money and after they were disagreeing on the matter; they went to the judge to settle the problem.
The judge asked the Fraud; do you have evidence to prove what you say?
The Fraud answered yes, that is the tree and you can ask it!
The judge astonished! How could a tree witness! But the Fraud in advance went to his father and told him the story requesting him to hide himself inside the tree and when the judge comes to the place and asks; who steals the money? He may reply that the Foolish who steals it. After awhile the father satisfied on the trick and decided to do according to his son advance advice.
They altogether the judge and his attendants and both litigants went to the place immediately.
The judge asked the tree, who stole the money? The man inside there replied; the Foolish Sir.
The judge turned astonished in what to do but lastly he found out the solution!
The judge began to walk around the tree saying to his attendants; we must burn this tree, and they set up a big fire surrounding the tree. Soon the father began crying and shouting "please take me out."
The judge now well knows how to do a decision .
At once he ordered his attendant policemen to hit the son and his father in well flapping kicks in order to force the Fraud to admit.
Lastly the Fraud confessed about his sin and paid all of the compensation.
2- passage from the story of ( al- Madaq alley)
Zeta sat drowning on his imagination watching the work time and when it was at a midnight or near about , he stood up blowing upon his lantern and after it was extinguished , the place turned very dark.
Zeta made his way through the darkness to find the door, opened it carefully then passed by the furnace to the out lane.
Following his way, the handicapped rough man - Zeta himself was going to the Al- Hussein area at slowly short paces.
On his way he was orderly came near the houses' walls.
Because of the lanterns glow faintly the place still dark and it was hardly for someone passed against him to recognize him unless he came close to his glimmering eyes that glowing as a metallic piece on the belt of the police officer.
While continuing his way , Zeta mind was engaged by rejoicing and pleasure but vanity felt that he could not pass there, only when the road is clear of beggars whom indebted him the absolute sovereignty.
