I was forced to do Williams Shakespeares, Macbeth as part of my 6th form english class. Although I found it difficult to follow at times I found the themes running throughout the story could be indentified to any group of people at any time period throughout history. One or two people always seem to be corrupt and have more power over others. Macbeth was power hungry and ambitious, as was his wife. The old saying still stands "absoulute power corrupts absoulutely".
