Macbeth was my introduction to Shakespeare and it remains the first love. I've only recently returned to it from an academic approach and have found it even more intriguing than I did when I saw my first production.

Macbeth is much more than a simple play about king, coup, and justice. Macbeth is a narrative of character, it challenges convention, and plays well on the ideas of later psychoanalysis. It is a premier work of shakespeare, and is worthy of great praise
