i could forever entertain
life to be the perfect place.
exact
loud
and brash for all the time
that's harsh
to hush is to cush
and of course
youth.
to a wrinkle a rush.
and to me a push
to elastic's lush.
but it has ways,
to corrose its
haste
is to
race less
and face more
and old age is gaged
to a bonus paste
mace
to sweeten the taste.
i can drink and be merry
and have my cake and eat it.
who said life was not anything but eager?
to learn is to earn.
and the number?
well is just term i get used
to as i firm.
