In 1984, Winston fears that he will be caught by the Thought Police for thought crime. My question is, are the Thought Police actually real? No one knows who the Thought Police actually are, so is it possible that they could actually be made up? I think Big Brother could have potentially made up the Thought Police to scare people into doing whatever he tells them.

I think that the Thought Police do not actually exist, and they are made up by Big Brother simply to scare the people of Oceania. No one has ever seen the Thought Police, or knows who they are. If the people of Oceania thought that there were some kind of police that would vaporize them if they committed thought crime, they would less likely commit thought crime.

You better KNOW (who cares about what you might wish to believe in this regard) that the thought police is very real and actual and it's going to get your arce if you do something like betraying the principles of democracy. This is not a game. This is not a threat. This is simply the way it is and shall be.
Why do you think people all over the world feel attracted to USA? Why do you think more than 99% of people all over the world want to become residents of USA? Why do you think WE are constantly changing the popular disposition of cultures where there is tyranny of any kind?
Before you open your mouth about this, do some good research to see the facts. They might come to you in the middle of fiction, but they are very clear to anyone with sense.
