I made it, and no one's even picking over my remains. What a wild three years.

Here's hoping you'll keep hoofin' it on the LitNet stage for at least three years more, Jack.

Happy Anniversary! Here's a poem for you, Jack. May you grace these pages for a few more years.
I was imprisoned
By the knave
His wild heart
Wrapped in tapestry and furs
Enslaved me
Though I wore a poker face
He always knew, he always knew
What I was thinking
My heart on my sleeve
His for the plucking
Grief, lusterless and white
Lies on my brow
And small children
Will not walk in my shadow
Oh jack, but still your face
Your face upon my eyelids in the dark

There's only one thing to do with that fine offering, dear Intemperate Frigate. And it's to put it in a certain thread where it belongs...

Ah, thanks Jack. You didn't have to do that. I don't know how good it is really; just having a little poetic fun. See you around, k?
