Inside crazy caverns of denied reality
the jester makes his home.
Sitting cross-legged on a throne of pure perception,
gazing outward and chuckling at the scene.
Most ignore or attempt to save him
but some do laugh with him.

Look in the mirror, what do you see?
A fool looks back at you and me.
The mad magician roars with mirth
at all the ignorant spells cast back
to their own source--the earth.

Most of us spend our time
seeking to solve the riddle of life.
A few view the solution from their grotto of light.

Logic is the lock
and the joker is the key.

Do you proffer Aristotelian Logic? I agree that our perceptions keep us in the dark cave of ignorance. I like the philosophical quandary posed in the first three stanzas. A nice, two-line antidote is provided in the last stanza. A nice, thought-provoking poem. I enjoyed it.

Although I took twenty-four hours of philosophy in college, I don't know what Aristotelian Logic is. But thank you for your comments.
