1-The fox and the crow
Once a crow was very hungry, saw a piece of meat. He picked it up, flew into the forest, and sat down on a tree to eat. A fox passing by saw the crow. Its mouth watered when he saw the meat in crow’s mouth. The fox desired to eat it, but how can it ask the crow to give it to him. So he thought of a plan.
“Oh! My sister, how are you? After a very long time I am seeing you. It is such a long time since I have heard the sound of your melodious voice. Can’t you sing a song for me?” the fox said.
The crow didn’t reply.
Again, the fox asked the crow to sing.
“Dear sister. I am very much upset. I want to hear your song. Definitely, your song gives me peace of mind; moreover, it is a fortune that I have met you. Please sing.”
The foolish crow believed the fox’s flattery and opened its mouth to sing ‘Ka, ka, ka.’ As soon as the crow opened its mouth, the piece of meat fell down and the fox picked it up in its mouth and ran away.
MORAL: Do not believe a flatterer.
The heron and the fox
One day a fox was running through the forest and while that he saw a heron standing between the branches, the fox wants to eat that poor bird but how can he it this the problem…
The fox came close to the heron and asked him:
What would you do if wind comes from east?
The heron would say, I make like this, he sees the fox how to do the movement… saying to I toss my left wing upon my body….
Then what would you do if the wind comes from west?
The heron said: I would toss the opposite wing to be against the wind… the heron sees the fox how to do the movement….
The fox replied "Ok! Ok!" well you do it! And asked the heron!
What would you do if the wind comes from all directions?
The heron immediately gathered his both wings in order to cover his head totally saying to the fox, in this way I can protect my body from the wind, the fox as soon climbed up pushing his two upper hands forward as fast as he could, then heron got his end futile because he was unaware to his enemy cheating.
2- The rabbit and the fox
Once a fox was walking in a forest, he saw a rabbit eating the grass, the fox thought if he could deceive the rabbit since the rabbit is faster than he is, therefore he could not chase, so that the fox decided to do a new a trick…
The fox pretended that he was died…
When the rabbit saw the fox, it shouted loudly at once:
The poor fox was died! The poor fox was died!
When the rabbit saw the fox pretended death but still its mouth was opened and its legs were lifted up, the rabbit said:
People often would say if the fox got death it might shut its mouth and stretched down its legs….
When the fox heard what the rabbit had said, he shut his mouth and loosed his legs….
The rabbit was sure that the fox was still alive so the rabbit ran away and it was saved….
