Poems, Poets, and Poetry

I was wondering about what's suitable for posting on this forum (PP&P). I understood that PP&P is for posts regarding the poems of other poets (other than poems written by the poster) and in most cases the works of well-known and published poets. Another forum, Personal Poetry, would be the proper venue for Lit Net'ers to post their own poems. Am I mistaken?

Now in meantime the manager has moved my topics, my poems, my literary works, where shall I send again? What shall I have to do?
As the matter was taken into this consideration , let them give me suitable solution either an external link or a suggested satisfying certain place..
Let him complete what he was going to do, therefore I shall wait ....
I shall not opposite anyone or any instructions, but now I cannot do anything, I cannot send a new topic because in the moved topic there is not link of a new post reply but only the ( reply to thread) How! Do I reply to myself?

Nick, you're absolutely right that this forum is about discussing poetry in general, other poets, the works of other poets, even poetry critics (as have been done a time or two). Personal Poetry is, indeed, for posting your own work.

Mohammad, as I said above to Nick, your personal work doesn't belong in this forum but rather Personal Poetry. (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?14-Personal-Poetry) However, it's discouraged to create so many threads at once with your own work. If you want to post a lot of your work, start a thread titled "Mohammad Ahmad's Poetry" and post it all there. Otherwise, try to restrain yourself to creating one new thread per day with a new work, or otherwise you monopolize the forum and bump off others' poems.

Agreed. There are some long-standing members who could do with following that advice as well...
