Terézia Mora has won the 2013 German Book Prize for her novel "Das Ungeheuer" (Monster). The book is about Darius Kopp, who had a successful life as an engineer, until one day he loses his job and his wife commits suicide. He travels around Eastern Europe, reading his wife's journal, learning just how vulnerable she was.
