my first one is about Santa Fe.

Santa Fe is the capital of the U.S. state of New Mexico. It is the fourth-largest city in the state and is the seat of Santa Fe County. Santa Fe is also the oldest capital city in the United States

"Do You Know the Way to Santa Fe?" in''My Best Friend's Wedding'' with Julia Roberts.

um... actually its Do You Know the Way to San Jose (a city in northern California/bay area) and the song is from the 60s.

How about Hashima Island made (more) famous by Skyfall.

"Singin' in the Rain" from Hollywood Revue of 1929 later became embedded in pop culture after the Gene Kelly movie.

wow I never knew this. an interesting but derelict looking island, great shame it is not preserved. it looks run down and polluted.
another place made famous in this film:
Varda Viaduct
The Varda Viaduct (Turkish: Varda Köprüsü), aka Giaour Dere Viaduct, locally known as "Alman Köprüsü" or "Koca Köprü" (literally: German Viaduct or Big Viaduct), is a railway viaduct situated at Hacıkırı (Kıralan) village in Karaisalı district of Adana Province in southern Turkey.

San Jose is not in Northern Ca. It's almost in Southern CA, below San Francisco.
