Peace be on you. In modern history, many Muslim-by-name countries have collapsed, recent one being the Syria, where more than one hundred thousand lives have been perished hitherto.
Many of these countries were blessed with huge natural resources but instead they use the wealth for well being of their citizens and humanity at large, they wasted the wealth in acquiring worldly pleasures, raising gold plated mansions and buying the obsolete arms.
In addition to that, they have become sources and sinks of all kinds of troubles. At places, their governments and masses are killing each other. Basic needs of citizens are not being fulfilled. Religious leaders are fueling in the already burning fires and misusing the word jihad as terrorism and killing the innocents.
Following are some of main points of Islam’s teachings, which Muslim countries should follow for peace.
Quote
‘And if two parties of believers fight (against each other,) make peace between them; then if (after that) one of them transgresses against the other, fight the party that transgresses until it returns to the command of Allah. Then if it returns, make peace between them with equity, and act justly. Verily, Allah loves the just.’ (49:10)
‘… and let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice…’ (5:9)
‘…And help one another in righteousness and piety…’(5:3)
‘…tender among themselves…’ (48:30)
One prays and look for better days.
