Aphorism #199 To find a proper Place by Merit, not by Presumption.

The true road to respect is through merit, and if industry accompany merit the path becomes shorter. Integrity alone is not sufficient, push and insistence is degrading, for things arrive by that means so besprinkled with dust that the discredit destroys reputation. The true way is the middle one, half-way between de-serving a place and pushing oneself into it. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?d=yIl2AUoC8zA (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?a=3kHgVzvo5XA:RTwO59O1ETw:yIl2A UoC8zA) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?d=qj6IDK7rITs (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/ArtOfWorldlyWisdom?a=3kHgVzvo5XA:RTwO59O1ETw:qj6ID K7rITs)

I don't know if the way is the middle one, for there is no precise call intrinsic to that. But I have no doubt that there is no substitute for merit supervising integrity and then, of course, the presence of merit in actuality. However, the Grace of God is imperative need, and works are not the answer to success.
