You might want to take a look at the last line of S1. "...letting you to" either change 'letting' to 'allowing' or drop the 'to'.

Curious tension created by the repetition of "I thought" which doesn't quite sit well with "and I still do". One is left wondering if one is reading a tender love note to a partner or a mournful reflection on a failed relationship...
