They have Dickens Works Illustrated on them.

- "The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. By Charles Dickens. With original illustrations By S. Eytinge, Jr. Boston: James R. Osgood and Company, Late Ticknor & Fields, and Fields, Osgood, & Co. 1872."

- "Christmas Books, and Sketches By Boz Illustrative of Every-day Life and Every-day People. By Charles Dickens. With original Illustrations by S.Eytinge, Jr. Boston: Ticknor and Fields. 1867."

I have done a quick google search, i didn't find much information except for 2 sellers, 1 for $220,000 USD, and one for 4700 Euro. I really don't see that happening. So if anyone knows anything about these or where i could go to see if they are worth anything, i would appreciate it.

It won't let me post images as a new user:

Really, the only way you're going to get a decent appraisal is to take the books to a professional seller. Even a detailed written description isn't the same as actually seeing the book.
