There are many on this site who are howling and gnashing their teeth at the news that my book, The Happy Demise of Hidy the Clown and Other Stories, has gone through its second printing. Most of these people attacked me, insulted me, and engaged in personal vendettas against me. What was their motivation? No one knows. Perhaps it was simple jealousy. I will say this: Never before has a writer been attacked as I was attacked on this site. And most of the attackers had not even read my stories.
