Hi, I'm new here.

I need to write a story about charity. The story is about a few students who send a letter to a very rich man for help. Their idea was to obtain one million of dollars for their charitable actions in Africa for education. At the end of their document they said:

1. We are students and we have 1c. We have a dream and our aspiration will guide us. What we only need is 999.999.99 dollars to reach our destination.
(I'm not sure if it's ok to use "reach our destination" as a metaphor there)

2. We are students, we have 1 C and a lot of dreams, wishes and determination. We only need 999,999.99 more euro for our purpose.

3. This travel start with a lot of dreams, wishes, determination and 1 C. We only need 999.999.99 more euro to reach our destination.

The ending quote is my problem. I'm not sure which is Ok. Can anyone help me with an advice or suggestion? :)

Thank you

P.S. I'm not a native speaker of English.

We are students, what we have is 1c, a lot of potential and a purpose. What we need is 999.999.99 more dollars to make a better tomorrow.

Another idea.

We are students and who are working on giving colors to the dreams of some needed people. Everything starts here to have sufficient funding for our life's most valuable project to contribute educational development in Africa. So far we have 1 C and a lot of dreams, wishes and determination. Our dream will come true only with help of people like you as we are in need of 999,999.99 more euro to get it done.

Hope it helps you :)
