Sound of Silence

interim to appraise,
a palling haze
with caramelized malaise
shackles each gaze

shadowy reels do requite,
swallowing time, space
with extraneous insight,
muted tangents trace

a stilling calm cores,
no shape or face to deform,
enters cloistered doors,
sentient space does re-form

now inner, outer peace,
squaring the quiet grains
subconscious gains a lease,
each, listless thought drains

I like the title very much so I posted a couple of lines as a dedication.
the first stanza is delish
