Hello to all of you! At first I thought not to write in this section of the forum, mainly because it appeared rather forlorn compared to the other more frequented ones. Nevertheless, I am too old-fashioned not to introduce myself duly.
My name is Tomás, or simply Tom which is better for Anglo-Saxon circles, and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I don't know whether the number of non-native English speakers here is high, much less the number of Argentinians (surely modest, too), but I certainly am interested in experiencing literary discussion with people who relish literature like myself but are immersed in a distinct cultural and lingustic enviroment. On a more personal but relevant side, I wish to mention that despite its foreigness to me, the English language has been a fundamental part of my personal literary formation.
Since I am often unable of being succint, I shall for now simply say that I truly hope that my intervention in this forum collaborates to make it richer and broader than it already is. Goodbye for now!
