Arrogant,
naive,
something like murder,
can you imagine returning?

Oooooo-kay then. Well, this is pretty open-ended, which is to the benefit of the poem - an apostrophe to snow, literal or metaphorical.
Snow is often described as smothering the ground, so could explain why it's 'something like murder'; likewise, the opening adjectives could be attributed to different forms of snow; but then, cocaine ('snow') also makes people arrogant, and perhaps gives us more of an indication to the final question than otherwise.
Skewed and imaginative as always.

Sometimes reading munkinhead feels like touching the Dao, some shadowy unspeakable underbelly of a long forgotten thought pattern. And other times it's like a shred of newspaper stuck to the sidewalk. Sometimes these two interactions occur in the same piece.

How about "con-descending". A con descending! Ok, here's a total revision!
Con-descending
murderous track
covering his ground
melting away
I liked your version just as much. I hope you will tolerate this preversion of your pristine verse.
