Through Mammoth Cave crawled,
Into a gallery spacious 'n grand
Stalactites dripped, limestone sand.
With no food or fodder, we came to explore!
These muddy floors, carved out by
ancient waters. Bio-luminescent dwellers
caught our eye in River Styx.

Climbing rope taught, the top we sought.
Reaching it, another cavern opened before us.
Crystals and gems, long formed, came to life
With beams of our flashlights. Such geology!
Persistent work showed, yielding results
from rocks, hmm who would've thought!
What ages could wrought. It had me stop and contemplate,
What could my long endeavors shape?

We made our way back to the surface,
With memories that made it worth it.
More signs of His work, of laws if you care
to observe it. So many places to worship.
Nature, nature, just search for the purpose.
