Greetings dear readers,
Growing fascination with Pygmalion effect brought me to your forum. I was hoping that some of you might know of good literature centered around Pygmalion effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pygmalion_effect). Expectations becoming reality, the more tragic, the better. Bernard Shaw seems to have a play called "Pygmalion", but I am afraid that it might be based on the hero of Greek legends and has less to do with psychological effect named after him.
Any help and suggestions are welcome. Also, I love Russian classics and if you can think of a Russian author relevant to the topic I'll be ever so grateful!
