The writting of Romeo and Juliet are about a pair of star crossed lovers who cannot love one another yet they do anyway. Is it fair or right to have your parents choose who you can or cannot love? I don't feel it is therefore Romeo and Juliet could'nt escape and be happy with each other till they were dead. So that's what they did. They died to be together. They both felt as if they were being controlled by their parents and neither of them felt as though it was fair. They had to marry in secret, see each other in secret.
